Any advice on getting home insurance (including flood cover) after a recent flood claim? No one is willing to insure us (including flood specialists) and we are not eligible for Flood re as our house was built in 2010. Please help.

Hi, we are buying a house which is in high flood risk zone, and flooded in 2013. I spoke to AXA who are happy to insure - they do it on a basis of 'flooded in the past 10 years' or 'not flooded in the past 10 years' and didnt seem to care how recent the flooding was. So if you haven't tried them already maybe worth a go!
