If a bacs payment was sent wednday will I get it before the weekend or will I have to wait til Monday? I bank with lloyds if that helps.

This is an electronic system to make payments directly from one bank account to another. They’re mainly used for Direct Debits and direct credits from organisations. The payments take 3 working days to clear, so money paid into your account on Monday will clear on Wednesday.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1 -
