homeworking - best way to heat one room?

If you're only heating one room during the day I'd have a look at these https://www.boilerguide.co.uk/articles/infrared-heating-panels-pros-cons-costs
My daughter has two in her "office" & she loves them. The gas central heating can be left off & she just uses these when needed, the heat is almost instant when switched on.
Admittedly more expensive than a "onsie" but more practical I would have thought.
Not for every situation but worth a look.Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
We have one of these, bought it in case the boiler ever packs up. Our electrician recommended it as being economical
