Covid test for travel

Hi All, 

Apologies if this is on another thread. How do you go about getting a Covid test for travel? It cannot be NHS and I am willing to pay but equally I don't want to be taken advantage of.

I'm not aware of any comprehensive 'best buy' listing of providers on here or elsewhere, and it seems to be a very fragmented market rather than one dominated by large national players, but if you Google with the thread title you get numerous options to get you started with your research....

This could be prime territory for a new online scam.    

We are used to people reporting that following a quick google search they clicked on the first link they saw and were charged lots of money to apply for an EHIC card or a ESTA.  How long before booking a covid test online for travel is picked up I wonder?  

That, or a mail order package for £25 that containing two cotton-buds, a wet wipe and poor instructions in broken English on how to stick them all up your nose and jangle them around for a minute before posting them back to a "lab" for testing.
