Have been using Virgin for the last 9 years but im currently (fingers crossed) in the process of moving homes where there is no virgin service available. So my alternative now is either Sky or BT for both TV and broadband, am i right in saying for sky services (Tv is delivered by small satellite but the broadband is via fibre?).
Anyone that has used both services, which one would you recommend?

If you can get BT at your current address you can get any other BT line provided internet - Sky, Talktalk, Plusnet, EE, Vodafone... Plenty of choice, you're not limited to Sky internet just because you take the TV too.Sky Q comes through the dish, the on-demand stuff (that you manually download) comes through an internet connection, any internet connection, doesn't matter who the provider is. Some Sky-pushed on-demand stuff comes through the dish, but you can always tell these as they'll claim to have been downloaded at a time when you knew you were sleeping0
