Hi everyone,
Hope you're well in these times.
I am having a nightmare with DWP. I can never get through on this number despite being on hold for an hour etc: 0800 121 4433
I have contacted the address on the paperwork with no response:

Two DWP workers at my local branch and:
correspondence@dwp.gov.uk
pipcustomerrelations@capita.co.uk
I've had to involve my local MP at this point as I don't know what to do. My fear is them paying it and then having the hassle of paying it back. I will ask my bank if they can find the details of payment as it previously came up as a bank giro credit. I can't see any details from my side.
Has anyone received a response from them?

Why do you want to cancel your PIP claim? If you already have an award in payment then i don't think it's possible to just cancel the claim.Contacting Capita isn't going to help because they are nothing to do with DWP, they are health assessment providers.0

You are calling the right number. The DWP don't provide any other way to get in touch with them about PIP claims if you can use the telephone so you are going to have to persevere. Try calling at 9am when the line opens it will be quietest then. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

I have spoken to PIP several times in last fortnight. You need to persevere on the phone.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

Thanks everyone.
I have had a response from someone on the correspondence email asking for all my details again...
Not sure why they haven't acknowledged post to their address on the form either.
As for 9am, I start work then so it's a difficult one!
I just want to close it down as I don't feel I need it and also changing address now.
Anyway, will see how I go with this.0
