Guesthouse would charge for other guests' cancelled rooms if I prove covid-19 positive

Google the term"That covers other cancellations where other guests leave because of the presence of a COVID sufferer on-site"shows this is a widely common rule added. The condition applies if you cannot return home. One example:
- If you are confirmed to have COVID-19, you should return home if you reasonably can. If a guest cannot reasonably return home (for example because they are not well enough to travel or do not have the means to arrange transport), their circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate health care professional and, if necessary, the local authority. Guests should follow government guidance on dealing with possible or confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) infection. Should guests have to remain at our guest house they will be liable to pay for all affected bookings as a result of their extended stay (that includes other cancellations where other guests leave because of the presence of a COVID-19 sufferer on-site)
- If you do find that you have to leave earlier than expected, then you will not be entitled to a refund from us, as a deep clean of the guest house will be required. In fact, it is strongly advised that you obtain travel insurance in advance of your stay to cover any such contingencies.

Some "trade body" has clearly told a load of their B&Bs to add that term in then, I suspect it would not stand up under any legal scrutiny whatsoever.0

It also doesn't define the context in which this rule applies ..."If you do find that you have to leave earlier than expected, then you will not be entitled to a refund from us, as a deep clean of the guest house will be required. In fact, it is strongly advised that you obtain travel insurance in advance of your stay to cover any such contingencies."Is that applicable to the guest who has covid and has to return home, or any guest that is asked to leave because another guest has covid and cannot leave. If you are asked to leave earlier than expected because another guest has covid who refunds you?

Ahh I see, just covering all possible eventualities no matter how unlikely. In other words, if you start to feel unwell, skedaddle pdq! (Don't know why but this has reminded me of the Fawlty Towers episode where a guest died in bed and they tried cover it up in case he had food poisoning!) Shouldn't laugh....but sometimes you just got to.0
