My electricity contract comes to an end 30th September 2020.  I have had an email extending my existing tariff to 30th September 2021. I have looked at many other tariffs and it is the best tariff for me and I am accepting.  I will now be on a non published tariff which does not come up on comparison sites.

Please keep a good look at your account from 1st October. I was on the fixed Green Alpaca Tariff which ended July 2020 though in March 2020 I changed to the cheaper Variable Tariff 10/05. On 1st July 2020 I got an Email saying my fixed tariff was coming to an end and I would be switched to the expensive Variable Tariff from 1st August. Two weeks later I get another Email stating that YE would like to extend the Tariff I was presently enjoying to the middle of September 2020, Great News so I thought.
4th August I logged onto my YE account and found from 1st August my account had been switched to the expensive Tariff. Phoned YE who found the Email extending the Tariff but had no idea why the system had changed my Tariff and they couldn't change me back to the Tariff 10/05. The result for myself was to switch to the fixed Green Haworth Tariff. Again please check the Tariff you are actually on from 1st October.
