Well a kind person sent me a voucher in the post-but the three stores i went to didnt stock it and told me they dont know any other bargain booze stores that do stock it!

I think ill have to email them to complain, why offer vouchers that cant be used?

Well I did very well - redeemed 5 vouchers for 20 cans - courtesy of additional ones other than my own that got posted to my father's and my brother's addresses, and another 2 that were kindly forwarded on to me by a couple of MSEers that didn't live anywhere near a Bargain Booze.

No problems as such, in fact I redeemed one only yesterday which was 2 days after they expired !!!!

The only issue (other than low stock levels meant I had to make multiple shop visits) was when I tried to redeem 2 coupons at once and the lady said it was only 1 per person. I said that the voucher didn't say this and she said she knew that but it was to protect stock levels for other customers. I said I'd only got 2 because 1 was for my brother and she succumbed and allowed me to take 8 cans.

However in the chat that followed it turned out that some guy had come in the previous day and just about "cleaned her out" of Coors Light after handing over THIRTY VOUCHERS !!!! 5 x 24 packs !
She wondered where he had got them from ??? So did I.
Then I think I came up with the answer (which may also be connected with "the forgeries" that are supposedly about as reported by BB)
The vouchers came from Coors - Coors UK HQ is in Burton-Upon-Trent, the Bargain Booze I refer to is under 10 miles from Burton-Upon-Trent.
I bet some of the other BBs in the vicinity (and there are quite a few) may well have seen the same guy handing over a similar number of vouchers on his visits.
Sounds like AN INSIDE JOB to me !!!

Thought that this would be the perfect stocking filler for the OH but unfortunately 'Bargin Booze' doesn't trade in Scotland. Bah humbug:mad:

You didn't miss much; we have three here.........the first one didn't stock it at all and the other two both knew nothing whatsoever about the voucher and refused to accept it! (In fact, the third store told me "oh, we've had about 8 people trying to use them already).
