I paid via Paypal and the money is debited from bank account, I raised a dispute with Paypal and did not see in my favour.Butts said:

I don't see the advantage of that rather than paying directly ?Barny1979 said:

As Paypal stores the bank details, I find it quicker and easier and sometimes have money in the Paypal account, just sometimes easier and got in the habit of paying this way. Paypal gives protection for goods and services, so in the case of Ryanair cancellations, got my money back this way, unfortunately wasn't successful with Lastminute claim.Butts said:

I do this often because sometimes online merchants don't accept AMEX as an acceptable form of payment, but they do accept Paypal.Butts said:

My Paypal is linked to my AMEX, so I end up paying with AMEX anyway and get all the associated cashback from the transaction.
Also it can be quicker to pay via Paypal, much quicker!4 Kwp System, South Facing, 35 Degree Pitch, 16 x 250W Solarworld Panels, SMA Sunnyboy 3600 Inverter, Installed 02/09/14 in Sunny South Bedford - £5600

I've now received an email from them to provide bank details to make the transfer for the refund. It still may be a while until the payment is received but it feels like it's moving in the right direction at least. Thought I should update you and hope you get some luck too soon!jonp05 said:Just sent emails from my personal and work emails and like you, got a reply to my work one (which wasn't the one used to book) - not sure if it means there is any chance of it being actioned, but as you say at least it is something to give ABTA...0 -

I booked flights to Lisbon in January this year for flights at the end of May and I am still awaiting my travel credit. Is anybody else experiencing the same delay with regards to travel credit? I have emailed customer care without any response and there is no point trying to contact by phone. Is there any pressure that credit card companies can impose. Is the government exercising any influence?
If other members have had responses from LM I would be grateful.
