What's the deal?
There are some super cheap Pay-As-You-Go Mobiles available right now....
These hansets are likely to be unlockable, so anyone who wants a new handset for their current deal should be able to Unlock it for free and then simply shift their Sim across.
Plus anyone just looking for a 'granny in the glovebox' phone; there primarily for emergencies then again this is a great deal.
However if you plan to make loads of calls then remember its the tariff you're on that counts not the phone. So instead of doing this read the cheapest mobiles article.
Anything else I should know?
Once topped up, the phones will be active for 6 months. After that, you'll have to top up again before you can recieve more calls.

- LG KG275 on Orange £9.99 in-store.
Sainsbury's has limited stocks of these handsets in selected stores until the 24th of December, so if you want one you'll have to be quick. It includes 50 free texts when you first top up the phone's credit (worth about a fiver).
LG's KG275 is a budget handset which nevertheless manages to look decent because of its small, slim design. It's not exactly feature-packed, but has a colour screen, user-friendly menu and long lasting battery.
- Nokia 1600 on T-Mobile £14.99 delivered.
T-Mobile online is offering this budget Nokia handset with free next day delivery. The handset itself is robust (if not quite as smart as the above) and again has an easily navigable menu.
It also has a colour screen and personal organiser function. Three tariffs are available, and you can alternate between them, so choose the one which suits you best if you go for it.
It's also possible to buy this through a cashback website to make it even cheaper (see top cashback sites article)
