I know exactly how you feel. I used to dread hearing the letterbox because it seemed like the only mail I ever received was either from a CC company or a debt collecting agency. And there was no respite at the weekends as a lot of the mail I didn't want to open seemed to arrive on a Saturday. Going through an IVA wasn't easy, and there were some lean times, but the letters stopped, the phonecalls stopped, and gradually things began to fall into place. The pivotal moment for me was when our electricity supply company agreed to let us go back to paying by monthly direct debit instead of prepayment meter. So keep going. Take your victories where you can find them, and know that you have learned a tough lesson. Don't ever forget it.0

Thank you very much, i am in the exact same boat, getting letter after letter and emails and calls, still am but as i was only granted yesterday it takes time. It is sad to think i have to start my life again at 42, but knowing i can give my 1 year old son a better life without the stress, makes it all worthwhile.
Well done to you too, its a road with an ending in sight.... Cheers to us 🙌🤛🤛0 -

I'm 43 and feel the same, having to start again so to speak, I've been in my DRO 8 months now and one creditor is still demanding payment, and the customer services based offshore seem to have no idea of UK insolvency and the rules about contact in a DRO.
You've done the hardest part, the struggle with the debt, admitting that you need help and getting everything together, now it's just a matter of time, it'll fly by
Best wishes to you0 -
Dave send the company a complaint and also report to ombudsman0
