Is there any way I can appeal and still apply for the first grant of the self employed income support scheme as I was unable to do so before the expiry date?

Why were you unable to do so? I can't imagine you'd be able to appeal, but even if you did, you'd need an insanely good reason.1

What would you appeal against, and why were you unable to apply before the expiry date? I ask out of curiosity only, as there is no mechanism for making a late claim for the first SEISS grant.1

You might still be able to appeal against a decision that you did not qualify after applying, but not against the fact that you failed to apply before the deadline-which was many months ago now.No free lunch, and no free laptop
