Clutch failure under warranty
Need advice .. garage say driver error after 17 yrs driving never had issue before clutch was installed last April 2019 by them .. I now think faultily on their part as they discourage sending away part and put car bk together n sent me away no charge but no new appointment date etc ... I think if I’d of been braver / not so stupid last yr I would of gone straight bk as smell of burn remained in low gears

Not sure if you are going to get this replaced for free. I would take it to another garage, get them to check the fly wheel and clutch cylinder as well.0 -
What is the make and model ? what mileage has it done ?0

So the new clutch fitted last year was under the car's manufacturer warranty...? And now it's failed again. Still under the warranty?
Or you think there should be a warranty on the clutch replacement?
You've been driving around for 16 months with "a smell of burn"?0 -
Put your left foot somewhere else0

I would check the gear oil level, and clutch fluid level. When you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you. Nietzsche
