I am an elderly and vulnerable person. I received a letter from HM Government.
" .. we share your data with supermarkets so that they can give you priority access to delivery slots"
    That was many weeks ago.
But ASDA has not added the Priority Customer delivery pass to my account.
    I phoned 0800 952 0101 and spoke with a person.
She could not resolve the issue. She had promised that the supervisor will phone me back before the end of the day. But no one called me.
Next day, I phoned many times.
3rd time, I was transferred to Priority Pass Team. No one spoke to me.  I could hear voices on the background. Sounded as if a party was taking place. I waited three minutes then hung up.
I phoned 0800 952 0101 again, twice but was cut off by the ASDA agent.
Does anyone know an email address I can write to?
    Or take some other action?
    Thank you!

"The government service is not currently open for new registrations because, since August 1st 2020 in most of England, people aren’t being advised to shield anymore. This means that we are no longer receiving data from the government to enable us to give you priority access to our delivery slots.
If you had already registered and have an active Priority Customer delivery pass, you’ll keep it. We will be reaching out to these customers very soon with further information about their passes."

From the sounds of it, unless you were signed up to the service before August 1st, you're out of luck.
  • I think what they mean is when did you sign up with Asda not the service? Once you received the letter did you contact Asda at the same time or was that more recently you got in touch?

Try Twitter - their customer services team seem to respond quite quickly on that.
