I find a mix of facebook marketplace and ebay for old toys works well, however even on marketplace people are looking at me to post out - so make sure you understand how to stay safe using paypal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Bought an old Maplins electronics kit cheap at a carboot. Thought it maybe interesting for the little one as well as useful to
have around. Needed to build a circuit and though ahah we have the perfect item... turns out it had been donated
some months earlier. Went on ebay and they were fetching £80+ even without the manual etc.. sobs...
Some toys are worthless but there are often a few little gems which you may not take a 2nd glance at, do your research.

Definitely do your research - check sold listings on Ebay and list accordingly. Some items sell well on Ebay others better on Facebook. For example I bought my now 11 year old a tiny cuddly toy from Home Bargains when he was about 2 I nearly popped it into a box for the car boot but double checked on Ebay. That cuddly toy was not the main character on the TV programme and I'm guessing they did not produce as many of them. I would have paid about £1/£2 for it when I bought it, my child played with it and I sold it on Ebay for nearly £40!0
