have you dragged the management company into this?
you should also be asking what due diligence they (both) carried out prior to starting the parking scheme, and if checks were not made then why are they processing your personal data without just cause ?
............... and when they carried out the consultation (and what were the results of the vote) as required by the Landlord and Tenant Act.  Did more than 75% agree and not more than 10% disagree?

    Thanks, Half_Way and Le_Kirk,
I moved in about a year after development was handed over to the management company and PPM took over our car park 'security' about a month afte we moved in. In fact, when we moved in, there were no parking permit information signs anywhere. As far as I know, there has not been any consultation and we were not given an opportunity to 'opt-out'. I will contact our management company to see if they ever carried out the consultation and what was the outcome of it.
Regardless, there is no permit requirements in my lease agreement.

Good. Read the thread started by @Lamilad a week or so ago.

And please please do the two Govt consultations before they close!  Consumer voices needed and the MHCLG are listening.
