Hi,
Are there any problems with getting a Start up loan for a business that has been registered couple of years earlier to only protect the name and has never started trading?

As far as I am aware, NEA is a grant scheme, not a loan scheme0

No trading - why do you need a loan or grant?

It is going to start trading now, otherwise this question wouldn't make any sense.jonesMUFCforever said:No trading - why do you need a loan or grant?

The conditions for them giving a loan are pretty clear:
"If you are currently participating in, or have participated in the NEA scheme within the last 10 months, then you can apply for a Start Up Loan between £500 and £25,000 using your approved NEA business plan."
