Do any other credit cards not showing pending transactions?

Used my M&S credit card last week after clearing off a two year balance transfer, and was surprised (maybe just me) to see that they do not show the pending transactions. The available credit is adjusted down but does not show where and then the merchant and transaction pops up a few days later when it has cleared.
The other cards, Halifax, Amex, NatWest and Virgin all show the pending transactions and where it was used. Virgin even show the MCC code whilst it is pending.
Just think it's a bit behind the times.
P.S. I remember my NatWest current account didn't show pending transactions till a few years ago.

Nationwide credit cards don't show pending transactions either.1

Does it matter? It does not bother me whether they do or not as I can count in my head the total amount of transactions I make and marry them up with the receipts.0

I have a John Lewis card which is provided by HSBC. The pending transaction might be determined by the retailer.
I say this because say I bought a paper today from my newsagent and paid by card. Within minutes I get a text alert from John Lewis telling me about the transaction. (To be fair the timing is variable based on the retailer and sometimes I don’t get a text message).
Later on today, that transaction is showing in my list of pending transactions. It will stay there until it has shown as cleared. I don’t remember if it alters my amount of credit remaining as I only look at the cleared balance.
Now I also bought something from Just Eat today. As of today it is showing in my pending transactions. Based os past experience, by tomorrow the transaction will have disappeared. By Tuesday, possibly Wednesday, it will be showing as a confirmed transaction. This happens consistently with Just Eat.

Maybe I'm old-school, but it pleasantly surprises me when a credit card does show pending transactions. It's really only the last few years this has become a relatively common feature.1

HSBC don't and Creation is hit and miss.

I'm fairly sure pending transactions will show up on all credit cards, even if you have to call up the issuer to get these. However not all issuers show these online such as First Direct CC and Nationwide CC. The ones which do show up online: MBNA, Halifax, Barclaycard, Santander, RBS & Amex.0

One of the may things the waste of space regulator should insist on being shown if you want to do business in the UK.

I can't see pending transactions on either my TSB credit card or my Nationwide one.
