Deja Vu and Driving

I'm not sure why some people on this thread are being so aggressive.
I am not experiencing an aura - I am experiencing what a lay person would refer to as "deja vu", which the vast majority of the population experience and would not impact my ability to drive. I understand that my friends are not neurologists but my neurologist has said I am completely and totally safe to drive (I have that in writing) - the DVLA disagree. I didn't ask my friends/family for a medical opinion, I asked them whether they experience deja vu or not.
The two types of deja vu thing is very helpful. I'll have to try and make contact with the DVLA and explain to them that I am not experiencing anything relating to epilepsy - just "normal" deja vu. It's honestly like pulling teeth with these idiots.0 -

Have to agree theres nothing aggressive, there maybe answers you don't like but they are from people who understand. This really is a discussion you should be having with the DVLA not on the internet or with friends as it's the DVLA who are responsible for making these decisions.
I'm sure we all wish you luck, but for your safety and everyone else's it's important that you are only allowed to drive when you are fit to do so4
