Blinds To Go No Refund

A family member purchased 4 blinds from Blind to go a couple of months ago. One of the blinds was too small so they returned the blind via Hermes Parcel Shop and reorder red another blind. They have proof of return from Hermes parcel shop but Blinds to go say that have not received it. Despite several phone calls and emails Blinds to go refuse to provide a refund of £70.00. They paid by credit card and spent well over £100.00 plus. What is best cause of action in this situation?
Thanks in advance

Who arranged for the return? If your releative was following Blinds To Go's return instructions then Hermes was acting as BTG's agent, so it's BTG's problem if they've gone astray.

Thanks for reply but in this case BTG did not arrange for Hermes to return the item. Relative paid Hermes themselves and obtained proof postage. Hermes website says item has been delivered to BTG but they will not provide a refund even though relative has proof. Could relative try and use a charge back from credit card they used and spent well over £100 + ? Any other action they can take?
Many thanks in advance0 -

But good news is a chargeback is still a option (no value limit)
If it is shown as one amount on the Credit card statement, then they will have to provide a invoice or such with the item costs on it, so only the missing refund is claimed back.Life in the slow lane0 -
Was the parcel insured for the correct value? If so, and it's lost en route then claim on the insurance. Surely Hermes tracking proves the blind was delivered?0
