Help Needed

Hi, I posted a £20 eBay item on Monday first class. Just basic, not signed for. The Royal Mail site has it as delivered on Tuesday. However the buyer contacted me to say they had not received it. What do I do?
Many thanks.

If you know item was delivered then I assume it was a parcel and has delivery confirmation? Hopefully you uploaded that number when you sent the item- if so you are safe from any INR. However, always try and assist the buyer , point out then it was delivered and the paypal address you used, suggest they speak to neighbours etc.

Thanks for you reply. I sent a message to confirm the address but the buyer replied straight back to say that a neighbour had just popped round to deliver the parcel! So it had gone to a neighbour even though they didn't receive the usual card.
So all is well. Feel very relieved!
