They called me the night before and said there were a few people chosen so I 'might' be chosen the following day, or not. I guess that's just to check you really are willing to go on air and that you'll have your phone ready. Then they called me on the Thursday morning and said I had definitely been chosen and that they would call me back just before 10am. Sure enough they called around 9.55 and said they would be connecting me to Jamie and Amanda to do the recording.nicolerose said:How do they contact you? Once it had been recorded they said it would be played the following morning at 7am.
I was unbelievably nervous but it was worth a few nerves!
The really funny thing is that I have almost no ability to recall things instantly so I'd warned my husband not to expect anything..... luckily the other player was so confident that she said she could name more than she managed to do, so I actually didn't have to remember anything! Phew!0 -
