  • That pot isn't ideal; tree roots tend to go wide, rather than deep, so the ones you've linked above are better, but maybe just got 6 months or so 'til you can find something larger.  Ideally they'd go in the ground - is that your plan eventually?  Trees never do well in pots unless they are the absolutely enormous pots that you see in commercial settings. 
    Also make sure you don't place them too close to the wall/ fence, as that will be sheltering them from rainfall.

    And would also reduce light to one side & they may tend to grow more on the lighter side after a while, making them appear lopsided
