Confused by Rule of Six (and what's the likely hood my mortgage application could be turned down)
So people can't sit and sew in classroom style table layout, but can participate in a language class in a classroom style table layout.
It's all so confusing.
I think the easiest thing is to consider the purpose, is it a social activity? The language class is educational, people are learning, so you can have more than six people if you distance them all. People will generally come, do the class and leave, there isn't a likelihood of groups of more than six interacting closely and breaking the law.
A sewing club or WI meeting is a social gathering, where people come to socially gather more than to learn so even if you start with distanced tables, people will likely move closer to chat. They can meet up to chat in groups of six. There is a chance that people will mix between groups and interact in a larger group (someone sees someone they know on the other side of the room and goes over).
