Over the years, I have found that if you think you need a new battery charger, what you really need is a new battery. I haven't used a charger in at least 10 years. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -

Technology has moved on in the last 10 years and battery chargers are considerably more sophisticated. The recondition function on my CTEK has bought a couple of batteries back from the dead.

..note that some of the reviews for this on Amazon are not very good due to one of the buttons failing?

Quite often that maybe true, a new battery would be better than a charger or a jump pack. But maybe its someone that only does
a short drive or where its parked for most of the week and rarely used. I charge mine every now and then as its rarely used.
The battery is less than 2 years old and its a decent brand so buying another battery wont solve the issue of limited use to charge it.
External charger is better than wasting fuel driving it around just to keep the battery topped up.

I think my Ctek charger was one of the best purchases I have made. I love the instructions. Basically you can't go wrong. Connect wrong way it just tells you. Leave it on indefinitely. I have a car I don't use much so have the Ctek comfort connect on it. If I am going to use the car I just pop it on charge the night before.
