Nationwide credit card

Booked cruise 4.1.19 for 26.7.2020
£10,444, cancelled through corona virus therefore rebooked for 13.8.2021 ,cruise company went into liquidation, nationwide refusing to give me back £1,500 saying there is no evidence of 1st booking although I have second booking invoice showing it is a rebooking 
I am at my wits end I can't afford to lose £1,500
