Are you commuting? If yes 3k mileage might be a problem, if no, no problem.
    One good continental holiday...
Semantics........and commuting definitely stacks up the miles, I go the TT every year where a 1000 miles in the 5 days I'm there is easily achievable BUT I don't commute and therefore  don't go over 3k a year in mileage and that was my point.

...wouldn't be surprised of the salesman deliberately kept the mileage low on the agreement so that the payments were more attractive to you.
Doesn't everybody read the contract before they sign it...? So that's not going to work, is it?

The OP sounds fairly clear that they were well aware of it being 3k/yr.
Errrr........ No, they don't. As evidenced by many posts on this site.
    More fool them.

One drop down the road & the 3k miles a year will be a side issue.

As usual- single post question and never seen again whilst people waste their time trying to help them

    4. Don't worry about it, assuming you did the maths before and 3000 is enough, likely the novelty of a new 'bike is racking up the miles. When the novelty wears off you might find your mileage drops to what you expected.
    5. Set aside the small amount every month to cover any excess miles covered, then you dont have the worry of finding the money to pay the excess at the end.
