It is in my books. The most miles we every per year in one car was 11k and that was years ago when we went to the beach etc almost every other weekend to take the kids out for a wlak etc.
I'm not going to look the average mileage for uk drivers as thet figure is out of sync but most people we know hard do more than 5k miles - we have done 4 mile round trips but we have these cars and often do longer trips in our sons car and even that is not a lot more than 5k a year but we all work form home most of the time.
