BA Flight Cancellation Refund

I’ve been trying to get a refund for cancelled BA flights for over 2 months now. It’s impossible to get through on the phone, I’ve tried many time. So I started a chat on Twitter. I thought I was getting somewhere until BA said they’d refund a card ending ending 5904. I don’t own a card ending in this number. I checked and the card I used Was my AMEX ending in 31004. I’ve confirmed this with AMEX and sent the conversation to BA. No joy. It now looks as though BA have ended my conversation and started a new one from the beginning! I don’t want to authorize BA to make a payment to a card I don’t have. I really don’t know what to do next. Can you advise?

It's pretty straightforward. Contact BA for clarification and to reprocess the refund if needed.

That's worked for me up until last night.

The person I got connected to had to transfer me and the lines closed before I got put through. It may be because I was unlucky and the initial call was picked up in India and not the UK.

Will try again tonight as it's the only way to get a cash refund unless they instigate the cancellation. Last night I replied to a text offering a refund for another trip and this morning had an e-mail confirming the refund would be back in my account within 10 days.
