Random insurance soft search

Hi
I had an alert today from credit karma to say aviva, lexisnexis, post office insurance inititive and BISL have done a soft search. I havent applied fot any insurwnfe product since april for home insurance and also car insurance in my partners name but both are with admril.
Can anyone give me a clue to thwse random serches.

We are constantly being monitored in one way or another. At least in this instance you are being told about it.
Data protection is all well and good, but how many people read the Ts&Cs in detail to see how their data is being shared.
