Supermarket sin-bin

Options
On the weekend I made a stir-fry, using ingredients from Morrisons (fresh steak, sealed packs of fresh veg); it was all really good, until one of my sons said "I've found a hair in it!". It wasn't one of ours, so Morrisons is in the sin-bin for a while.
Today I opened a sealed November (2020) dated pack of Sainsbury's branded sliced cheese for the first time and it was going mouldy; took it back for a refund. No goodwill gesture, so Sainsbury's is in the sin-bin.
Fortunately, I do have Tesco, Waitrose, and Aldi shops local too; I hope they don't let me down over the next couple of months!

As long as they replace the contaminated product or refund, that's all they need to do. They are not obliged to offer compo (sorry, goodwill gesture).
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

I'd expect a post like this from a new user, not a vet
  • "not a vet" Could be animal hair then?
