Help re problems with contacting RAC

I'm burst a tyre at the end of July, the technician came out to put on saver tyre. Went to garage next day to get tyre replaced. They couldn't remove tyre because the nut had been over tightened and broke. Called RAC who advised me to take it to one of their approved garages to try to remove bolt, and they would pick up cost of repair as everyone agreed it was the technicians fault. Repair done. advised by garage to pay bill and claim back from RAC. I have now sent numerous e mails, at first I got an acknowledgement that the email had been received, but now they just do not respond. I managed to get through to the RAC site by phone to another department, but they too, could not get through to the relevant department supposedly dealing with this. They made another complaint on my behalf, and said I should hear back in five days. that was four weeks ago. Since then, I have tried every phone number I can find for the RAC, but cannot get through. Has anyone any ideas about what to do next? Thank you.
