Minster Baywatch parking fine

Hi, I have received a parking fine from Minster Baywatch stating I overstayed the 2 hours free parking. They state I entered the car park at 08.25 and left at 15.25. I actually popped in to Aldi for a few things for work then drove to work. I then popped in to Aldi again on my way home to buy things for dinner. My google maps has logged all of my journey for that day and proves I parked at work and all of the time line at Aldi. I also have two receipts from shopping at Aldi that day that I've down loaded from my online banking. I've appealed the fine, but I'm still very, very worried as I've read so many horror stories about this company online.

  • No, you have not received a fine. Its an invoice. Nowhere does it state "fine", so dont say it is.

Double dip. Dead easy. If yo uhave sent them proof of their error, then chances of MB approaching court are slim, and if you did you have the easiest case to defend ever.
    So, stop being worried.

luckily for you this is a double dip, in almost all other cases you should never name the driver.
is your name Sandra, and were you born in 1970?
again you are lucky that this is a double dip, you have used the word I to describe what the vehicle or driver did, and your username appears to be your real name with date / year of birth
Partying companies read these forums and you have provided plenty of identifying material.

if you get another parking charge use an anonymous username and do not state who was driving.

with that out of the way, add the fact that if the drivers id is known, Haas been leaked, minster baywatch and Aldi make strange bedfellows was this a retail park?

fir double dip, see also gdpr breach

Complain to the Aldi CEO by email , attaching copies of receipts etc , for two short visits , insist that they cancel it

Plan A in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum !!

Do not mention the incorrect word "fine" , it's a PCN , an invoice , it won't have that 4 letter word on any paperwork

The Government is (this month only) consulting about a new statutory code of practice (CoP) and framework to rein in the rogue parking firms.  Read and comment on the draft CoP proposal and the enforcement framework consultation, and get everyone you know to do the same.

You will need to register to comment on the CoP and enter an occupation even if you are retired or a homemaker, but otherwise it is easy to navigate, and comment upon each section/subsection individually. You can save comments to edit later and or submit comments once you are happy with them.

You do not need to register to comment on the enforcement framework which can be found here. It has a link on page 5 to make comments.

At the very least, we say the parking charge level should be £50/£25 or higher level £70/£35, as per Council PCNs in E&W.

And we say the added fake 'debt recovery' costs are just double counting the cost of letters, and MUST GO because that is unfair and illegal.

Please be heard.  You can bet the hundreds of PPCs will be commenting.

Aldi won't be able to cancel a MB PCN, as Aldi only use ParkingEye. Therefore MB were contracted by whoever owns/runs the retail park (easy to find by Googling the name of the place).

But a double visit situation is a well known flaw of ANPR, you just need to tell MB that this is the case and that their Data Protection Officer must check the ANPR images in between, and find the middle 'in and out' images that the camera has ignored.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is not a fine, this is an invoice from a scammer, possible an ex-clamper for compensation for the damage they allege they suffered as a reslt of your dastedly behaviour. Pay them not a penny unless a judge orders tou to.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the

scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.
