Premier park

Hey,
I’m currently in the process of appealing and unfair parking ticket from Premier Park. I had parked my vehicle on one of their sites, so I could carry out my air-conditioning job as an engineer. I received through the post a parking charge, they want £100 from me because apparently I exceeded the maximum stay period even though I was only on site carrying out work which I had proved to them with the job work order and also photographs of the work carried out. They have rejected my appeal and said I should’ve had a permit registered on the system I want to find that the photographs of the sign that states this. I am unable to speak to anybody either on the phone or through any other communication the only option is to actually pay the fine, or appeal to Poplar.

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks, Dan.

If you had been invited onto the land by the landholder, then you have a superior licence than the one that PP allegedly offered.
The elements of a contract could not be there, meaning they have no accepted contract you could breach and therefore no PCN possible.

You need to provide evidence that you were working there and were authorised.  POPLA is pants though, so if you lose then you'd win in court.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the

scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Mr Dance, whilst I applaud your dedication to the cause, if you are going to post on every new thread, I think it would be better to mention the two draft consultations than what you normally post.

FC, as you may have gathered, I have a very low opinion of the many newbies who come here without doing even a modicum of research, asking daft/basic questions .  I very much doubt that many would understand the current consultations so see little point in mentioning them.

My object is to get as many people as I can to complain to their MP, I see little point in recruiting uneducated people into a pressure group quite frankly.

Many of the people who come here seeking help are the sort of people I used to have to deal with as a Consul abroad.

Mr Cat .....  it's NOT spam, and rather rude to an elder on this forum.

I agree with Fruitcake though maybe put the posts to better use with the new CoP
