Did they say they were going to?
    Did you ask them to?
  • They are responsible only for making sure its condition matches their advertisement, and for it being roadworthy.  Nothing more than that.

Ok, no they didn't say they would service it just asking.

    Dear OP
Normally, the service history would say when the car was last serviced and major dealers if less than 6 months they often service.
Before we moved to brand new cars we'd often buy a car about a year to 18 months old and we asked for a years service, full tank of petrol and at times have it delivered to our home. But it all depends on the dealer the amount one is paying for the car and the time of the year, month as around new reg they are very busy.
When was it last serviced, what car, year and mileage is it please.
    HTH.
  • Dealers used to service second hand cars before resale as part of the PDI. Not anymore due to "environmental legislation". They only do it if it is due, or part of the sale negotiations.
