Afternoon all
Beautiful day again today and I have just picked yet more strawberries from the garden, I have had so many this year this is the third crop, DH and DS will have to do the layering next week so I get some lovely new plants for next year
Well op day is tomorrow thank goodness we will see if it actually cures the problems in my hands even though they think it is probably the neck degeneration that is causing it, but I will try anything to get the strength back, I can't open jars, knit, crochet, sew or turn the tap on these days
Just going to pack my hospital bag, I didn't want to put the mockers on the op by packing it too early, this is the fourth time it has been scheduled *sigh........
Hoping that DH and DS cope ok but I won't hold my breath, last time I had an op the house looked like a bomb had hit it and there was a two week washing backlog and that was four loads a day.
Just browsing Amazon for ideas for Christmas pressies, it will be here before we know it eeek.
Lots of big bills next month so money will be tight, hence the browsing and not buying, that will come in November. Saying that I don't have many pressies left to buy thank goodness.
Will catch back up when I can, keep well and keep safe

Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon all,
Thanks for the queries.......came home on Saturday and have looked after extremely well ever since.......OH is driving me nuts with his fussing, but I am managing to keep my mouth shut most of the time.......he feeds me until DD1 comes home and cooks dinner and then he puts me to bed around 10pm. I am sleeping well so feeling better every day.......thank you all for your kindness.
Take care of yourselves.......hope to be back to normal over the few weeks.

Hello all, very late today but we have been at Dad's since early this morning cutting down his trees and shrubs that have only had a trim for the last 40 years. There is now a huge pile of garden waste to dispose of, probably enough for 2 skips, but he wants to let it rot down and put it into his green bins bit by bit. I'm didn't argue as I was too hot and tired, but we did let him know that the other ones he kept pointing out for the chop wouldn't happen anytime soon, not until the first pile had gone. Mr Fix It came home with 2 scratched and bleeding forearms and a limp ( his knee problem ) whilst I had 2 itchy arms, caused by something in the trees that didn't agree with me. Anti-histamines taken, I showered and then collapsed onto the patio lounger for some sunbathing, with someones cat for company. I must have a "come to me I'm safe" look for cats, either that or I have an aroma of cat mintRight enough of my waffling, see you all tomorrow.Take care all, stay safe and keep wellnan xxMeanMarie glad you're on the mend even if it's an on-going process.Butterfly good luck for the op tomorrow, hope it goes ahead this time.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8
