How to beat A POPLA a for future parking

I purchased a ticket for car park in stout port-on-Severn.  Failure to pay for duratioN of stay (ANPR). The sent parking charge for 28 mins, apparently the Car park has camera so picture of entry 7th August. I entered car park which was busy so waited for parking space. Then went to purchase tickets but couldn’t pay by card, so when to cash point to get cash for machine. Then purchased ticket for 1hr. So they are fining £100 for 28 mins waiting for parking space and gaining cash for machine.  I appealed which was refused because they want evidence of ticket for 28 mins. So told to appeal to POPLA Can anyone help me please

All the information you need is in the bewbies/stickies, have you not read it?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

When BT says you won't win on landowner authority, he doesn't mean you can't win or have to pay, BTW.

If the machine was not accepting card payments then extra time was needed to pay by cash, however you should have bought a ticket for more than an hour if your total stay was 1 hr 28 mins.  But, even if you lose at POPLA you don't PAY!

    Is the PPC 'Future Parking'?

Have you already gone and admitted that you were driving, in your first appeal? - doh!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
