Argos Card Refund Help

Hi, hope someone can help. I know I should speak to Argos about this but the staff don't seem to be sure what will happen.
I bought a games console for £300 using my argos store card on a 6 month BNPL everything was fine and i paid £50 to clear some of the balance. The console developed a fault so i took it back and was offered a refund, but i will be refunded £300 onto my Argos card, has anyone experienced anything similar? Will my Argos card show as £50 credit or something different?

The account should have a credit balance if you had no other transactions. Call them to get it refunded.1
