Disability Hand Rail Failure 1Day

Thank you for all you do and thank you for being there .
i dont know who else to contact but only you i trust to not tell me lies .
My Aunt has chronic lung cancer and with covid  she cant have visitors .
she was given a handle out side her front door to use to be able to get outside.
The handle has failed day one and she has had terrible fall .
Now she is just scared to go or do anything because she thinks she cant.
ive searched and cant get hold of anyone that will take responsibility for this .
also ive found out she shouls of had 2 rails fitted with a slope for her footing i think they called it ....
Sorry but i dont know who else to give me any advice ...
i have a small vid of this handle .
Just feel helpless trying to make her time she has left with family .
Just Dont Know what to do or Who to take advise from .

Who supplied and fitted this handle? Start with them

Was she assessed by her local Occupational Therapist? If so then she'll need to contact them. They will be part of Social Services.

As poppy says the OT if they arranged for it to be fitted, if not whoever fitted it should put it right.
