Summer house - upgrade

Hi All,
A few months ago we bought this summer house https://www.sheds.co.uk/adley-7-x-7-chelsea-corner-summer-house.html. We love it but would like to make some alterations to it. First of all, I would like to have a green roof. What I have learned so far is that we would need to reinforce the current structure. Inside there is one support beam for the roof. By adding 2 more support beams would this be enough?
Secondly, we would like to clad the summerhouse with the same cedar wood (vertical) that we have for our fencing so it blends in nicely. We have a fair bit of leftover pieces of cedar from the fencing. Should we use nails directly onto the existing wood or would it require some additional support? Many thanks for your suggestions.

Seems like a lot of work for what I personally see as minimal gain. Not only would you need to upgrade the roof structure but the walls may also need the same treatment as loads transmit through to the ground. There are plenty of websites with information on green roofs including the various loads. So you’d need to cross reference those with the manufacturers’ instructions for the summer house.1
