Link Parking CCJ

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me? I moved into a new development 4 years ago with underground parking. There were problems due to other residents parking in incorrect spaces because the building company hadn’t put markings or car space numbers on each space. The management company employed Link Parking to enforce correct parking. They sent out slips of paper to residents to place in their windows and monitored the car park every day. I never received a slip and got two fines for parking in the space that I own. I refused to pay the two charges and complained via email that I didn’t owe them a penny because I was parking in my rightful space. Three years later I’ve been made aware that I’ve had a CCJ placed against me. All correspondence was sent to an old address and I wasn’t aware of it until today. Could someone advise what I can do to have this removed??

Read the Newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , especially reading about set asides , typically £255 for one contested set aside. Also read a dozen or more set aside CCJ threads on here , there are hundreds of them !!
Link parking have form for this over the last few years , they were mentioned in parliament not too long ago0 -
Seems like you didn't update your V5C then, if you've lived there for four years and the parking event took place after that. Clearly, all the paperwork (except the original PCNs, were they windscreen notices?) went to an old address.1
