Hello friends
Last November I bought a portable charger for my phone / devices from Xiaomi. It was 1000mAh and cost me £29.89 inc postage. In May (6months later) it failed to work so I sent it back. After weeks of useless off putting correspondence they finally sent me a replacement which was a different colour and only 5000mAh. I complained and after more weeks and weeks of useless offputting correspondence they agreed a refund. Which they say they have processed and sent me a reference number
I just cannot remember from which bank / credit card I paid for this. How embarassing. I have the receipt which shows I paid but I dont know where from, I cannot find the transaction in my bank statements or credit card statements or Paypal activity statement. I had a credit card which I have since closed but they said the payment did not come from them either.
My question is how can I use the reference number to access the refund? Hopefully someone will be able to let me know and looking forward to any replies
Many thanks

Found it! It was the last account you checked. Just needed to look a bit harder.0

It's possible your account had pigeons and needed to be cleaned, so the bank moved your money including your refunds to another account; do you remember George calling you about this?1

They are your accounts, so how you expect anyone else to know where it's gone....
Does the receipt not have the last 4 of the card number on it?
Other than that ask the retailer where they sent it.Life in the slow lane1 -
Did you check your statements by looking for the name of the company only? It's not always one you will recognise. Go through your statements again for the amount, and you may find it this way.
