Dcb legal Claim Form

Hi, guys! I received a claim court from dcb legal.  Issue date: 10 September.  For a fine in a private parking, at night.  Duration: 5 minutes and 45 seconds.  Lockdown, payment machines did not work.  I'm struggling to read the forum in the newbie section, because I know you're going to send me there, at#2.  I haven't been to England for a long time and my English isn't good enough, I'm struggling to find a solution, there's a lot of information for how much English I know and I don't think I can defend myself with google translate.

Dcb legal fine is 165+ 75 court fees and legal representative’s cost.  What the hell to do?  I would have liked to follow your advice and fight back, but it's beyond my power right now.

I apologize if I look like an idiot and I opened a useless topic, I would like to pay, but I don't even know if I can pay on their website or I have to send that claim form and complete all that information about incomes, employment etc

Why don't you tell us which parking firm (the Claimant is not DCBL) and the date you acknowledged the claim, using the really simple pictures in the NEWBIES thread about how to acknowledge?

Surely the TEMPLATE DEFENCE thread is self explanatory and easy to use?

With a Claim Issue Date of 10th September, you have until Tuesday 29th September to file an Acknowledgment of Service. If possible, do not file an AoS before 16th September, but otherwise, there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an AoS, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 13th October 2020 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

The claimant is Bank Park Management Limited. I got the fine on 28/03 and claim form on 10 september. But on the claim form the address for sending documents and payments is Dcb Legal.

I missed the dcbl letters because I have moved 4 months ago from the address where they sent me the fines and the claim form, but I was living there on 28/03, when I got the fine. All my documents were updated 4 months ago at the new address, including the gov.uk account, but they continued to send letters to the old address. If i try to complete the AOS, what address do I put? My current address or the old address where the claim form came?
  • Anyway, my English is too weak to handle this.  Can you tell me where and how to pay?

What country to you stem from and does that country like scammers.  You are being scammed by DCBL especially as they have added a fake amount.
You would be very foolish to pay this scammer .... you have all the help here to beat them as long as you listen to the experienced posters

County court business center Northampton.  It looks like a real claim form.  With the correct phone number, stamp and related forms.

I can do the AOS, then try to use templates to defend myself, but it takes me far too long for my level of understanding and I can make many mistakes. I prefer to work in this time and pay their thieves, get rid of the pressure and be much more careful next time. Belive me, the consumption and time lost to understand is much higher for me, a mediocre English speaker. I'm alone, I don't know anyone to help me. And if I'm in a position to talk to someone live or on the phone about this, I'm lost.

I'm not even sure how to pay.  On the forms it is written to send them by post to the dcbl address.  I would like to pay them online and keep proof, but not to wake up with these thieves doing something to steal more

Why are you trying to pay a scammer ?????
  • Beamer - they've told you why.

Maybe call DCBL to find out a way to pay them. They absolutely will have ways to do so. You then go online stating the claim has been settled.

It is not a fine, it is an invoice form an ex clamper/scammer for compensation for the alleged damage you inflicted on them.  You are not obliged to pay them a penny unless they take youu to court and a judge says you should.

If you reside in the UK consider complaining to your MP as nine times out of ten these tickets are scams.

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

You could try Small Claims Advisor.  They can do it for you.

Or you can copy the template defence, add the facts for the car park (takes no more than half an hour) and your defence is done.
