County court claim defence parking

Options
Dear all firstly thank you for all the advice provided I have spent about 5 hrs reading all of the threads to try and get a handle on what to do , I am hoping this thread is not covered else where if so I do apologise.  To date I have followed all advice on AOS ( thank you) that has been done. My challenge/question is this: I have been sent 3 separate claim forms, that include 2 separate vehicles and several separate ' offences' on each one from almost year ago. I guess my question is, should I use the defence template and In essence submit 3 separate defences to each claim to:  CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk  and then attach the southampton case and Britannia vs Crosby, I hope that makes sense, any and all advice appreciated ( even if its sending me to where I need to be reading)

What are the Issue Dates on each of your County Court Claim Forms?

On what dates did you file the Acknowledgments of Service?
Did you file the AoSs online?

Yes each one needs to be done , so 3 times if there are 3 claims , but if it's all the same place and company you also ask for all 3 claims to be combined into one claim , and keep asking until they are combined into one , at every stage

If they were say 3 different locations or 3 different claimants , each one is treated separately

Dear both thanks for your timely advice: dates of issue was 1st and 3rd sep. I did AOS on the 8th ( I hope that was ok) this was as soon as I got home as I was overseas. And yes all done online.

It is the same location and same company. In terms of requesting they be combined , when, where and how do I do that ? Is it to the defence submission email when each defends is submitted?

    thanks so much

Yes , add it to every communication , so as an extra paragraph in each and every statement , until it is picked up by a judge and they consolidate them into one claim

The dealings with the CCBC will be by email to ccbcaq@justice.gov.uk , your dealings with your local court will most likely be by email too

With a Claim Issue Date of 1st September, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 5th October 2020 to file your Defence.
That's nearly three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

The Claim with an Issue Date of 3rd September has exactly the same Defence filing target date, i.e. 4pm on Monday 5th October 2020.

You should ask at every stage for the two claims to be combined.

Here is what to add into the template defence AND IN YOUR COVERING EMAIL:

Then you repeat that AGAIN at the next stage (see NEWBIES thread) when you send in your two Directions Questionnaires, preferably attached to the same email at the same time so the Judge who assesses the cases when they are allocated locally, can see the problem at a glance and order ONE hearing, not two.

So you know the template to use but I expect the global sum claimed in the Particulars of Claim is £182, not £160.  Don't reply telling us about the interest or the figures on the right. NO PENCE.

We do not want to waste time talking about the global sum any more than this pointer I am giving you.

This is all explained in the TEMPLATE DEFENCE; you merely need to spend half an hour adding your own data and detail about the car park and why the driver thought they were authorised, etc.
