Fixing casters to desk

I have a very heavy desk, modern and think it is made of MDF.

It's impossible to move without 2 people and wondered  if it would be possible to fit some sort of casters on the bottom so I could at least move it on my own.  Carpet is quite thick pile as well which doesn't  help.

Has anyone any experience of fitting these and what sort would they recommend?

Something like these would do you - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Castor-Wheels-Rubber-Trolley-Furniture/dp/B00FHGGUT2 , maybe not these exact ones but this type of caster, also dependant on what they can be fitted to on the underside of your desk.

Plenty more at Screwfix - https://www.screwfix.com/c/security-ironmongery/wheels-castors/cat840226

The Amazon one look good but it looks like all the castors have a baseplate to be fitted directly above the wheel.

Would be possible on the right side of desk where there is an open cupboard with a baseboard bridging 2 uprights. On the other side however, there is just an open floating shelf for tower unit where the bit the tower sits on is 6 inch above the floor so there is just an upright where I would have to attach the casters.

Looking at the link to Screwfix, I couldn't see any castors that fit sideways on (they would probably snap away with movement)
    Thanks for your help anyway

Then you're probably better of with swivel castors with stem/socket or screw fittings that you can fit by drilling into the desk legs.

Have a look on https://www.castors-online.co.uk/ for various types -
