Business credit card without current account?

Hi,
I'm setting up my own business and have been looking around for a business credit card. They all seem to make you have a business current account with it as well. I like my current current account provider so don't want to change (they don't offer a credit card).
Can I open one like this but not use the current account?
Is there someone out there that just offers a business credit card facility?
I want to use it to order parts for jobs I'll be doing so that the money from the job should come in before the credit card is due.
I need it to sync with Quickbooks to try and make things as easy as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help

  • Get a business current account and use it.  If you use your personal account, it will ultimately be closed down.

    Amex?

But be aware you can’t use personal current account for business use.
  • Maybe I didn't explain correctly. I have a business current account with Starling but they don't offer a credit card.

So? You don’t need to take a business credit card with the same bank

Barclaycard these days is just a trading name of Barclays, if you checkout the footer of their website... they were brought into the fold a good few years ago. No idea if they require you to have a business current account or not but its no longer the case that "they" don't offer them.
  • Thanks for the comments, I'd completely forgotten about Barclays, have applied for one from them. Thanks again!
