Changing mortgage broker

Hi,
Anyone ever changed their mortgage broker in the middle of the mortgage application process? What are the implications? How does an alternate mortgage broker take over the application?
The reason I ask is because, my current mortgage broker didn't follow up on the documents they sent across to the bank despite me requesting 2 times in the past 15 days. Because of this, the documents were simply sitting in the bank's portal and not processed to the underwriter. The broker (part of a company) hasn't called back with an update despite a message being left with their colleague.

if the company is large then they could ask another broker to take over the case and transfer the lenders commission to the new broker when it completes. Happens quite a lot with leavers.
Transferring to another company wont be possible without starting from scratch1 -
Broker uploads docs to lender and lender hasn't processed them because broker hasn't "followed-up?" That sounds like tosh. Some lenders are currently so far behind, you can upload today and they won't have dealt with them in two weeks whether the broker phones every day or not at all. Once in the system they should be looked at in chronological order without any further broker input.
Who told you this, the lender?I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Nat West was also the first thing that occurred to me when I read this thread.
Most likely lender to think you have submitted the documents but have not done so.I am a Mortgage Broker

Have to admit I just email it now. Hate their upload facility as I have done it a couple of times too. Didn't used to matter as you would call after a few days for an update to be told it wasnt there but now...0

Thanks everything. The Natwest issue is pretty much my scenario. The docs get uploaded but not submitted as natwest constantly keeps telling me that the documents haven't been received. This has already delayed my mortgage processing.
Going to see if I can get another person from the broker company to help.0 -

If I were to raise a complaint against the mortgage broker to the company that they work with, at what time should I raise the complaint?
I've now received the offer but I am extremely disappointed with the broker / company.
1. Since the initial delay described, I contacted the broker 2 times by phone and 2 times via email for an update on next steps - there was no call back or a response to the email.
2. The lender had requested the contact information of the solicitor to make the offer - broker sent it out after 4 working days. After that, I directly dealt with further information requests from Lender by constant follow ups.
3. Since my last email to the broker on 11th Sept, there is no contact made by the broker with any updates / issue of offer / steps after the offer etc.
I wanted to give the company an opportunity to explain why they have behaved like this by raising a complaint. Alternatively, I am going to write a review so that people don't fall into the trap of working with this individual / company.
