A few months ago my Mother in law (84 yrs old) gave me a letter from Hungary, saying that she had driven late 2019 on a highway there without paying a toll. This is completely untrue and impossible. She had a stroke a few years ago, and hardly even drove to the local shop after that, eventually giving up altogether a year ago. Her or her car have not been out of the country, let alone to Hungary. I went onto the website and logged in with her "case" and there was a very poor night time photo of a car, which looked like her registration but the shape car did not even look like hers. I wrote a comment about the above and that it could not be her car but letters still came from Them or Euro Car Parks and I told her to ignore them.
Now we have 2 letters on the same day from Contractum International Debt Collection, which is worrying her. I have looked for an email address to send them a email but can't find one. I have been to their website and to the communication page, put in her case but nothing then happens to the page.
What should I do? Write a letter or ring them? I just need to stop the letters as they are making her very agitated.
Thanks
Steve

ignore. You will not get anywhere by contacting them. They have no powers to do anything in the UK2

It's not Euro Car Parks, it's that company of a similar name and the VRM has been wrongly transcribed. Why not give the scammers your address, replying as Mum, so the letters no longer arrive at her place?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
