How can I find out who supplies toyota brake shoes

Does it really matter which brand you buy ? If you buy a quality aftermarket brand from a high profile factor and not some cheap Chinese knock off from Ebay or backstreet shed you will be fine. For a French build car it is likely to have 2 types running in parallel on the lines, the French suppliers go on strike at the drop of a hat so always having an alternative supply makes sense.

You need to figure out which is on your car, then buy the pads for them. There's diagrams on that link.0 -
If the ones you have as are in that picture then you have Lockheed brakes (AP Lockheed) as fitted on French built cars, Japanese have Akebono fitted. £62 seems a fair price for genuine parts - ECP want the same price for Pagid. Loads on Ebay from £21 for ADL Blueprint. Took me 2 minutes to find them. The clue is in the part number sticker on the box.

How do you mean wrong size?0

The sizes quoted will be nominal rather than actual - various brands are listing as 38mm up to 40mm. As long as you get the correct style of shoe they will fit whichever brand you buy.AP Lockheed no longer exist and have been taken over by Raicam.0
